Google Analytics Acquisition Source Dashboard

Why I created this dashboard
- I wanted a 30,000 ft view that allowed me to quickly see how different channels perform in key metrics
- This is a great dashboard for ad hoc reporting
- This is a great dashboard for when traffic drops and everyone is in a panic. You can quickly spot the source of the drop. Did a Paid campaign end? Did that social media link go away?
- When someone makes claims about traffic and what is performing, this is a single click that allows me to confirm or refute their claims
How I use this dashboard
- My primary focus is always on Organic traffic, so no surprise it is listed first
- I carve paid out, and group the rest of content into a third column
- I coded the dashboard so that you’ve got eight KPI’s per channel
- I always look first for changes. What seems out of sync, and are there any insights to be gained?
